Palestinian Reporters Killed by Israeli Attack in Gaza

Two Palestinian reporters were killed by an Israeli attack in Gaza on Wednesday, Jul. 31, at the Shati refugee camp.
Al Jazeera journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and his cameraman Rami al-Rifi were travelling to western Gaza City to report on Ismail Haniyeh's (Hamas' leader who was killed on Wednesday in Tehran, Iran) home when their car was hit.
Both Al-Ghoul and Al-Rifi were wearing media vests and their vehicle had signs indicating their profession, but they were still attacked.
The reporters contacted the newsdesk fifteen minutes before the airstrike.
During the call, they reported a strike on a nearby house and were told to leave immediately. The reporters were travelling to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital when their vehicle was hit.
The Gaza government media office shared that 165 Palestinian journalists have been killed since the start of the war.
