Prohibited Items in the World Cup Stadiums
Attending any World Cup games this year? Under the "Stadium Code of Conduct," FIFA has outlined the objects that are prohibited from being brought into the stadiums during games.

Dangerous Items
- Weapons of any type, including knives, cold steel objects, guns, and piercing or bladed things.
- Detonators, explosives, and products that conceal or contain such forbidden goods.
- Beach umbrellas, hard hats, motorbike helmets, and other such items.
- Work tools
- Body armor or corsets (unless medically necessary), bulletproof vests, and equipment for extreme sports or martial arts.
- Helmets and other disguises, excluding religious hats, masks for medical purposes, and face shields.
- Lighters, matches, pyrotechnics, flares, smoke bombs, compressed and liquefied gases, flammable solids, dangerous or noxious or pungent chemicals, oxidizing substances, and organic peroxides are prohibited in addition to cigarettes and electronic smoking equipment (including those that heat tobacco).
- materials that are radioactive, caustic, corrosive, or toxic.
- Spray cans, flammable, caustic materials, and paints.
- thermoses, flasks, and aerosol cylinders.
- Any closed item made of a breakable material, such as glass bottles, cups, jars, or cans.
- Items used for sports, such as frisbees, balloons, and inflatable balls, but not clothing.
- Scooters, kickboards, skateboards, bicycles, and rollerblades. Within the stadium's outer perimeter, baby strollers are permitted (subject to dedicated storage facilities being available).
- Stairs, benches, folding chairs, cardboard boxes, huge bags, sports bags, and backpacks.
- any rolls of paper, or significant amounts of paper.
Food, beverages, and consumables
- Unless purchased and consumed in specified places, sanitizers greater than 100 ml, liquids with alcohol, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Unless purchased within the stadium, any additional liquids that are larger than 100 ml.
- Any type of food, unless purchased inside the stadium, if it is medically necessary, or if it is for babies or small infants (not exceeding 1 liter per child).
- Narcotics, stimulants, or drugs. Medicines that are not illegal or restricted in Qatar are allowed in amounts not to exceed one package containing no more than seven different medications (in any form, including aerosols, drops, syringes, etc.). The packaging must be from the manufacturer. Any type of food, unless purchased inside the stadium, if it is medically necessary, or if it is for babies or small infants (not exceeding 1 liter per child).
- Narcotics, stimulants, or drugs. Quantities not to exceed one package of medications that are not forbidden or limited by Qatari law are allowed.
Additional Banned Items
- anything else that might endanger people's safety, cause a nuisance or damage the tournament's reputation.
- A wheelchair or mobility scooter must be brought by ticket holders for the wheelchair user area in order to enter the stadium.
- Wheelchair User Place Ticket Holders are allowed to use manual or electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters inside the stadium as long as they have three or four wheels, a maximum width and length of 70 cm and 130 cm, a turning radius and width of 90 cm and 150 cm, respectively, and a top speed of 6 km/h.
