Qatar and Bahrain have begun negotiations to resume direct flights between both countries, after restoring bilateral diplomatic ties on April 12th, Doha daily Al Sharq reported on Monday, citing anonymous sources.

Concerned authorities from both sides are currently discussing the number of flights and their proposed dates.
Flights could be resumed as early as May 15th, according to the sources.
The suspension of flights began on June 5th, 2017, when Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt decided to sever diplomatic relations with Qatar, and put together a list of several demands for its return.
