QNB Is the Official Sponsor of Lusail Super Cup
The Local Organizing Committee of the Lusail Super Cup has announced QNB as the official sponsor of the event presented by the Qatari Diar company, which will be hosted by Lusail Stadium, one of the eight stadiums for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, next Friday.

The event will witness an expected match between Al Hilal, the Saudi League champion, and Zamalek, the Egyptian League champion, in the World Cup stadium, which can accommodate more than 80,000 fans, and will host the World Cup final at the end of this year, the match will be preceded by a party for Arab singing star Amr Diab.
The sponsorship of QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, for the upcoming event, confirms the bank's keenness to present its brand in the most important sporting events hosted by Qatar, as part of its preparations for the 2022 World Cup.
On this occasion, Hassan Al-Kuwari, Marketing Relations Manager at the Local Organizing Committee of the Lusail Super Cup, expressed his happiness at QNB’s announcement of its official sponsorship of the event, and said: “QNB continues its efforts as the largest supporter of major sporting events in Qatar, in preparation for hosting the first edition of the World Cup in the region after less than three months."
On her part, Mrs. Heba Ali Al-Tamimi, Director General of Communications at QNB Group, said: “We are only a few months away from holding the world’s most famous sports tournament for the first time in the region, and we are pleased to be a global partner and support organization keen to highlight its brand in the largest events hosted by the country. We are also proud of our participation in this special event hosted by the largest stadium in the tournament, Lusail Stadium, especially since this match will witness special interest from the fans thanks to the popularity of the Saudi and Egyptian teams.”
Lusail Stadium will host ten matches during the Qatar 2022 World Cup, starting with the match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia on November 22, and concluding with the final of the tournament and crowning the winner of the title on December 18.
Lusail Stadium recently received two GSAS certifications, from the five-star category in design and construction, and from the Excellence in Construction Management category, in recognition of the commitment to sustainability standards during its design and construction stages.
