Sony Turns Banana Into a Controller
We all are familiar with how the world is moving along with digital transformations. But, have anyone heard of fruit and technology?
If you haven’t then you must know that Sony has filed a patent for its weirdest yet invention. A patent that would let you turn everyday items into PlayStation controllers, such as bananas.
Apparently, their patent lets players use ‘non-luminous passive’ objects as a video game controller. So, you shake a banana at the screen and it will allow you to play whatever game your play and act as an actual controller.
The patent request gives an illustration of how its patent would work using a banana
A camera will map virtual buttons on the object and track the motion with pixels, contours and colors.

So, who needs to buy another controller when you could just simply use a fruit that is rich in potassium?
