The program seeks to examine these students differently from the rest of their schoolmates while also taking into account the humanitarian circumstances of these categories.

In response to concerns raised by parents of students of determination, the Ministry of Education has outlined the procedure.
Even if their test results show they need to retake the exam, students with mental disabilities and cancer patients will be permitted to attend graduation ceremonies, according to Minister of Education Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.
Juma promised to provide all the support necessary for cancer patients and students with mental disabilities to complete graduation requirements prior to the start of the upcoming academic year.
The ministry would establish a strategy for evaluating students with mental disorders and cancer patients to be applied to these categories on a yearly basis, the minister added.
