The hotel rooms also feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and refrigerator, ensuring a comfortable experience for large groups, families, and long-stay guests.

In the design of the hotel, Le Méridien was keen to combine the mid-century feel, and details inspired by the region's environment, such as drawings of sand dunes and waves scattered throughout the hotel.

Tariq Mahmoud Al-Sayed, Managing Director and CEO of Al-Rayyan Tourism Investment Company, ARTIC, said: “We are pleased to expand into the Qatari market to enrich the hospitality sector in Qatar by offering distinctive hotel brands and collaborating with the best international hotel operators such as Marriott International.

With the opening of the Le Meridien City Center hotel, we have provided the largest hotel complex in Qatar, and all these hotels are directly connected to one of the largest shopping malls, City Center Doha.

We at “ARTIC” always strive to provide the best, and we are confident that the distinctive hotel brand “Le Meridien” will enhance the hotel’s attractiveness and its leading position in the market."

For her part, Sandra Schulz Potter, Vice President, Luxury and Selected Brands, EMEA, Marriott International, said: “We are delighted to open the second Le Méridien hotel in Qatar, strengthening our presence in this world-renowned destination and underlining our commitment to developing the hospitality and tourism sector in Qatar.

Le Meridien City Center Doha brings the brand’s original glamour during the 1960s on the French Riviera to Doha’s West Bay Area, and we look forward to welcoming gourmet visitors and residents of Qatar to enjoy a unique experience at the hotel.”

The hotel includes six luxury restaurants and cafes, including Café Rouge, which has a design that reinvents the concept of a classic French bakery, which serves fresh pastries and delicious coffee according to a seasonal coffee program, in cooperation with the famous Illy coffee, the modern restaurant Rouge, and Kaz Restaurant, which serves the best cocktails, with a selection of delicious Middle Eastern appetizers.

Guests can also enjoy a delicious tagine, and traditional Moroccan tea service at Casa Restaurant, which offers the best traditional Moroccan dishes and flavors with a modern twist, in addition to the hotel's interactive open-plan kitchen, which serves international delicacies throughout the day.
