National holidays for 2021 were announced by the UAE cabinet following a meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness approved the holidays for the following the year 2021 for both public and private sector employees.

The dates are as follows

Eid Al Fitr | 29-3 | Ramadan-Shawwal | 1442 |
Arafah Day | 9 | Zul Hijjah | 1442 |
Eid Al Adha | 10 to12 | Zul Hijjah | 1442 |
Islamic New Year | 12 | August | 2021 |
Prophet Muhammed's (PBUH) Birthday | 21 | October | 2021 |
Commemoration Day | 1 | December | 2021 |
UAE National Day | 2,3 | December | 2021 |
The cabinet has also announced that the same dates are confirmed for the national holidays in the UAE for year 2022.
