Türkiye Embassy in Bahrain Launch Aid Campaign for Earthquake Victims

The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Bahrain sent the first shipment of humanitarian aid to Türkiye through their national carrier Turkish Airlines on February 10th.

There will be more shipments organized by the embassy and sent to the earthquake-affected areas in Türkiye.
The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Manama started a donation campaign to collect aid for the Türkiye-Syria earthquake victims on February 8th. The embassy asked for winter clothes, survival equipment, and other resources to be donated such as canned foods and hygiene products through their Instagram page.
The embassy employees and volunteers gathered to pack all donated items on February 9th. Both Bahrainis and expats came forward to help with collecting and packaging the donations.
The Turkish ambassador Esin Cakil expressed gratitude for the efforts of the locals and expats "We are thankful for the solidarity shown to us...On behalf of myself and on behalf of Turkish society and Turkish people, I would like to thank...His Majesty the King, His Highness the Crown Prince, and all the Bahraini authorities. [To] all the people living in Bahrain and all the people who donated [to] us, thank you very much."
The donations can be made at the Embassy of Türkiye in Mahzooz, Manama from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
