UAE Fuel Prices to Be Reduced in September

September will see a slight reduction in fuel costs after six consecutive months of rising fuel prices in the UAE.
Super 98 petrol will cost AED 2.55 per litre, which is a decrease of 3 fils.

Meanwhile, Special 95 will be priced at AED 2.44, down by 3 fils per litre, and E-plus will cost AED 2.36, down by 3 fils.

The price of diesel will also go down from AED 2.45 to AED 2.38 per litre.
Fuel prices for August 2021 were:
- Super 98: Dh2.58 a litre.
- Special 95: Dh2.47 per litre.
- Diesel: Dh2.45 a litre.
Current fuel rates for July 2021 are the following:
- Super 98: Dh2.47 per litre
- Special 95: Dh2.35 per litre
- Diesel: Dh2.42 per litre
The UAE Fuel Price Committee said earlier in March that the rise in prices was due to the rise in global oil prices. Prices were held for a year until they were adjusted in March 2021.
This is the first time in 4 consecutive months that the UAE sees a slight reduction in princes.
