His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia discussed strengthening relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them to serve common interests.
This came within the framework of His Highness' working visit to Indonesia to participate in the G20 Summit, at the invitation of President Joko Widodo.

His Highness and the Indonesian President - during the meeting, which took place at President Joko Widodo's residence in Solo - exchanged cordial conversations that express the depth of the relations that unite the two countries and the common desire to continue building on them to advance their cooperation to broader areas that meet the requirements of sustainable development now and in the future.
The meeting touched on the importance of the issues discussed at the G20 Summit in light of the challenges the world faces that affect development, stability, and security at the regional and global levels.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the efforts made by President Joko Widodo in this regard under the Indonesian presidency of the current summit.
