President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, in Washington. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen the close relations between the UAE and Bahrain, focusing on enhancing cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

During their conversation, both Sheikh Mohamed and Prince Salman emphasized the strong fraternal bond between the UAE and Bahrain, highlighting the importance of working together to further develop these ties. Their discussions included exploring new avenues for joint collaboration in various sectors that would benefit both countries.

Exchange of Greetings Between Leaders

Prince Salman also conveyed the warm regards of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Sheikh Mohamed, who in turn sent his sincere greetings to the Bahraini king. Sheikh Mohamed wished continued progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.

Key Officials Present at the Meeting

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from the UAE, including His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Other notable attendees included Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, and Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
