In the latest Gallup Law and Order Index, the UAE gained a high score in the safety and faith in law enforcement a global report.

UAE ranked second with a score of 93 of covering 115 countries and territories.
Norway (score of 94) topped the overall rankings, while China, Switzerland and Finland rounded out the top-five spots.

Around 95% of UAE residents said they feel safe walking alone at night, which is the highest rate in the world.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gallup was unable to field its surveys in Singapore and Afghanistan - two countries that have consistently scored the highest and lowest on the index.
