From October 4, The UK will start accepting UAE vaccination certificates. The Secretary of State for Transport in UK tweeted that the decision follows updates to the vaccination app.

This will allow travellers who have taken a UK-approved vaccine from the UAE to travel to the UK without the mandatory quarantine.

The three UK-recognised vaccines that are approved for travel between the UAE and the UK are Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca.
In an exclusive interview on Dubai Eye's Business Breakfast, Simon Penney, The Queen's Trade Commissioner for the Middle East, spoke about the approved vaccines when travel goes back between the two countries.
He also clarified that as long as there is valid proof of vaccination, the country in which the shot was taken does not matter.
