This was clarified by Emirates Airline in a response to a customer’s question on Twitter.

A top Air India official in the UAE confirmed to Khaleej Times: “As per instructions issued by civil aviation authorities in Dubai, for passengers to disembark in Dubai, only three documents are required. They need to have a GDRFA approval, negative RT-PCR test result taken 48 hours before departure, and a rapid PCR test result from the airport.”

UAE residents under the age of 18 can travel to Dubai from India and are exempt PCR test requirements, Emirates Airline has said.

On August 8, Emirates Support clarified the query of a passenger on Twitter.

"Passengers under the age of 18 years are exempt from the vaccination requirement when travelling to Dubai from India," it said.

Passengers can apply for a GDRFA approval here.
