During a promotional event for her debut film, "The Archies," Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, emphasized the significance of role models, citing Alia Bhatt as an exemplary figure.

Suhana commended Alia for her sustainable fashion choice, specifically for reusing her wedding saree at the National Film Awards. A viral video captured Suhana expressing admiration for Alia's decision, highlighting the influential message it conveyed, however, got trolled for the same.

In her own words, Suhana stated, “Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards, and I think, as somebody with a platform, who has an influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message.” She further emphasized the importance of sustainability, encouraging others to follow suit by reusing outfits instead of constantly purchasing new ones.

Internet users remarked that celebrities receiving praise for reusing outfits was noteworthy, considering that regular individuals engage in this practice routinely.

Suhana connected this message to a broader concept, stating, “If Alia Bhatt can re-wear her wedding saree, then we can also repeat an outfit for a party. We don't need to buy a new outfit.” Her comments underscored the role of influential figures in promoting responsible and sustainable choices.

Notably, Suhana Khan is set to make her feature debut in "The Archies," directed by Zoya Akhtar. In a surprising revelation, Suhana disclosed her singing debut, performing "Jab Tum Na Theen," a song from the film, showcasing her versatility in the entertainment industry.
