During the holy month of Ramadan, all government offices, authorities, and public buildings are open from morning 8 am to 2 pm. The majority of the restaurants are closed during the day, while a few are only open for dine-in. Smoking and/or eating in public is strongly discouraged and should be avoided. The majority of organizations and offices also offer designated locations for those who want to eat during working hours.
