The Children’s Triathlon Race saw an enthusiastic turnout yesterday at Sofitel Zallaq, as HH Sheikh Khalid attended the October 19 event organized by The Triathlete Factory Academy, in collaboration with the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The triathlon, which featured swimming, cycling, and running, brought together young competitors aged 6 to 15 for a thrilling display of athleticism.

HH Sheikh Khalid awarded medals to the top three participants in each age category, making the day even more memorable for the young champs.

Distinguished guests, including Sheikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa and Fares Mustafa Al-Kooheji, were also in attendance to support the budding athletes.

Sheikh Khalid expressed his excitement at the large number of participants and emphasized the value of engaging children in sports from an early age to foster a culture of fitness and healthy living.

The event was a proud moment for Bahrain's sports community, showcasing the nation's commitment to nurturing future talent.
