A drug dealer and his girlfriend have been sentenced to prison in Bahrain after trying to smuggle narcotics by hiding them in his stomach. The couple was arrested following a tip-off and quickly brought to justice.

The man received a five-year prison sentence, while his girlfriend was sentenced to three years. Both were also fined BD3,000 each. After serving their time, they will be deported from Bahrain.
