Bahrain Is Preparing for Earth Hour 2025— Here's How to Join

Bahrain is getting ready to go dark— for a good cause! Earth Hour, the global movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), is set to take place on Saturday, March 22, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

This worldwide initiative encourages individuals, businesses, and governments to switch off non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about energy conservation and climate action.

Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has officially called on ministers, government bodies, and the public to take part in this year’s Earth Hour. Whether you're at home, at work, or out and about, you can join the movement by simply flipping the switch and reducing unnecessary energy use.

It’s more than just turning off the lights— Earth Hour symbolizes the collective power of small actions leading to big changes. So, mark your calendars and be part of the global effort to protect the planet!
