Bahrain is advancing its commitment to religious tolerance with a generous donation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who has allocated land in the Seef area for the construction of a new Greek Orthodox Church.

This initiative reflects the Kingdom's dedication to promoting religious freedom and fostering a culture of mutual respect among diverse faiths.

Dr. Sheikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence, expressed gratitude to the King for his support of religious diversity. He noted that this contribution further underscores Bahrain’s efforts to uphold the values of peaceful coexistence and to strengthen ties between different cultural and religious communities.
