Bahrain’s golden girl, Winfred Yavi, captured a gold medal in the Women’s 3000m steeplechase, dazzling the world with her relentless pace and unmatched determination. Not far behind in the glory stakes, Akhmed Tazhudinov clinched another gold in the Men’s −97kg wrestling, demonstrating power and precision that left his opponents in awe.

The track was also the stage for Salwa Eid Naser, who sprinted her way to a silver medal in the Women’s 400m, adding to Bahrain’s impressive tally. And in a show of sheer strength, Gor Minasyan muscled his way to a bronze in the Men’s +102kg weightlifting, lifting spirits and weights in equal measure.
