Family-friendly activities flourish at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), which features a playground and public artworks including the Heritage Garden, the Cave of Wonders, and the Nakilat Adventure Ship.

Additionally, there are two ongoing exhibitions: "Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You" by Pipilloti Rist, a well-known Swiss artist, and "On The Move," which highlights the lives of people who are nomadic and semi-nomadic in three different regions: the Central Sahara, Qatar, and Mongolia.

In order to inspire the next generation of innovators, designers, engineers, collectors, and policymakers through a shared passion for cars, the new museum will bring Qatar's car community under one roof and one mission. This will be accomplished by the ongoing "Sneak Peak at Qatar Auto Museum" exhibition at Mawater Gallery.

At NMoQ, there are additional attractions to discover that will round out your time in Qatar. It will be difficult to overlook WADHA by Qatari designer Wadha Al Hajri as one approaches the Museum.

The store has the Women's Ready to Wear (RTW) line, which features opulent fabrics in serene monochrome hues adorned with her distinctive geometric hand embroidery patterns and latticework drawn from Islamic art and architecture.

A wide variety of delicious meals and treats are available in kiosks and businesses all throughout the museum's grounds.

The FIFA World Cup Ambassador for Qatar 2022, Ghanim Al Muftah, offers a five-star ice cream experience at Gharissa Ice Cream. The result of Ghanim's business enthusiasm is Gharissa Ice Cream. He started the brand by using his mother's family recipe.

A cozy, fast-casual vegan café with Qatari roots is Thalatheen. It provides a warm setting for dining on food with a Qatari flavor.

The ground-floor Desert Rose Café, run by Chef Nouf Al Marri, has access to both the Baraha courtyard and the lagoon (on the Corniche side). It is famous for its fusion cuisine from Qatar.

With the recent installation of the Jiwan Kiosk on the Ground Floor of the museum, Jiwan, a Ducasse restaurant famous for its modern Qatari cuisine and attractive interiors, has expanded its hospitality. Jiwan is located on the 4th floor of NMoQ. It offers a tasty selection of beverages and recently made sweets.

Visitors can engage in the distinctive majlis experience at Café 875 on the Museum's mezzanine, which features a traditional setting inspired by Qataris' longstanding hospitality and nomadic way of life.

While children play at the Nakilat Adventure Ship at the North Playground of the NMoQ Park, Dinara Kasko Pastry's artistic confections are simple favorites. Children can discover the nation's culture and history while exploring the ship and learning about sailing, pearling, fishing, and trading.

The Heritage Garden, which features a variety of plant species native to Qatar, is one of the attractions available in the NMoQ Park, which is open twenty-four hours a day. Nearby is the Cave of Wonders, a recreation of an underground rocky cave where visitors can wander around freely, find hidden hiding spots, climb, crawl, and explore strange glowing rocks, carvings, and artifacts buried in the sand, as well as bats hanging from the ceiling and a giant gecko scaling the wall.
