Palestinian Film 'The Teacher' Wins Big at the Red Sea Film Festival

British-Palestinian director Farah Nabulsi's 'The Teacher' won the Jury Award at the Red Sea International Film Festival

The film's protagonist Saleh Bakri also won the Best Actor award. 

'The Teacher' also featured at the Toronto International Film Festival this year. 

Nicolas Cage 

Hollywood star Nicolas Cage received the Yusr Honoree Award at the ceremony for his various contributions to cinema.

Other Awards at the Red Sea International Film Festival

The feature film 'In Flames' won the Golden Yusr Award for Best Feature Film, while the Silver Yusr was given to the film 'Dear Jassi'.

'Somewhere in Between' received the Golden Yusr for Best Short Film, 'Suitcase' won the 'Silver Yusr for Best Short Film.

The documentary 'Four Daughters' won the Asharq Award for Best Documentary. 

The film 'Omen' won the award for Best Cinematic Contribution.

'Norah' received the Film AlUla Best Saudi Film Award, while 'Hopeless' received the Film Al Ula Audience Award.

Best Directors, Writers, and Actors at RSIFF

Shokir Kholikov won the award for Best Director for his film 'Sunday'.

The award for Best Screenplay was given to Karim Bensalah and Jamal Belmahi for the film 'Six Feet Over'.

Mouna Hawa won the award for Best Actress for her performance in the film 'Insha Allah a Boy', which also featured in the Cannes International Film Festival.

Nour AlKhadra was awarded The Young Rising Star Award by Chopard.
