Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Denies Rumors of His Arrest in Dubai

Various media outlets reported on Monday, Jul. 22 that Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested at Dubai Airport.

The reports explained that Khan was arrested after his former manager Salman Ahmed complained against him. 

The media reports also alleged that the singer was taken to the Burj Dubai Police Station for questioning.

Following these reports, Khan posted a video message on social media, saying "I came to Dubai to record songs. . .everything is fine. Don't believe the disgusting rumors."

According to the media reports, Khan dismissed Ahmed a few months ago and eventually, both individuals filed cases against each other. 

Earlier this year, Khan was part of another controversy with a viral video showing him slapping a person who was later identified as his protege Naveed Hasnain and explained that it was a matter between a teacher and his student.
