- ⅓ cup white sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup crushed pistachios to garnish

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla

- Shred kataifi
تم نسخ الرابطShred frozen kataifi dough with your hand or in a food processor until the strands are about 2cm.
- Add sugar and butter
تم نسخ الرابطPour the dough into a large mixing bowl and add the sugar and melted butter on top and massage with your hand until you fully saturate it.
- Spread the dough into the pan
تم نسخ الرابطBrush your pan with some of the melted butter and evenly spread the dough and firmly press it.
- Bake it
تم نسخ الرابطBake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 30-35 minutes until it is deeply golden.
- Prepare syrup
تم نسخ الرابطCombine the sugar and water in a small saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to medium.
- Stir constantly
تم نسخ الرابطStir the mixture constantly for 5 to 7 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is thickened. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and vanilla.
- Remove kunafa from the oven

- Serve
