3 Bahraini FinTech Firms Appear on Forbes ME Fintech 50 List

Three innovative Bahraini companies – EazyPay, Rain, and Tarabut – have secured coveted spots on the prestigious Forbes Middle East FinTech 50 list.

The recognition underscores Bahrain's growing influence in the global FinTech arena, with these companies poised to reshape the financial services landscape both regionally and beyond.

Here's a closer look at what sets these Bahraini FinTech trailblazers apart:

EazyPay:

Securing the 19th spot on the list, EazyPay stands out for its comprehensive suite of payment services, including POS systems, online payment gateway services, and cards and virtual accounts issued across Bahrain. With a rapidly expanding network of merchants and robust transaction volumes, EazyPay is poised for further growth and expansion across the GCC in 2024.

Rain:

Securing the 30th spot on the list, Rain has emerged as a pioneer in the digital asset investment space, offering investors across the GCC and Türkiye seamless access to virtual assets. With a user-friendly platform and a commitment to regulatory compliance, Rain is driving the democratization of digital asset investment in the region. Rain operates in 10 countries and has over 413,000 users. It has processed $4.7 billion across more than four million transactions since its inception. 

Tarabut:

Securing the 33rd spot on the list, Tarabut is at the forefront of open banking innovation, providing real-time access to financial data and payment infrastructure. With a focus on fostering collaboration between banks, lenders, and fintechs, Tarabut is facilitating the development of advanced financial products and services across the region. Tarabut operates in the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, and has achieved over 90% bank coverage in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
