Armed Robbery Targets Five Bahraini Dhows in Northern Waters

In a bold act of piracy, five Bahraini dhows were targeted by armed robbers in the northern waters of Bahrain, approximately 33 nautical miles from Diyar Al Muharraq.

The assailants seized electronic devices, personal belongings, and the fishermen’s catches, all while threatening the crew.

The Coast Guard responded promptly, launching security and legal measures in collaboration with the relevant authorities. The incident has also been reported to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.

This alarming event has put coastal security on high alert as authorities work to ensure the safety of fishermen and their vessels in the region.
