Bahrain Announces School Timings for Ramadan 2025

The Ministry of Education has revealed the official school timings for public school students during Ramadan for the academic year 2024/2025. The adjusted schedule is designed to balance the educational needs of students with the unique demands of the holy month.

School Timings for Different Levels

The Ministry's announcement details the new school hours for each education level:

Primary School: 8:00 AM – 12:10 PM
Intermediate School: 8:00 AM – 12:55 PM
Secondary School: 8:00 AM – 1:25 PM
Technical and Vocational Education: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Religious Institutes (Islamic and Jaafari): 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

For students attending evening sessions, the hours will be:

Intermediate & Secondary Students: 1:30 PM – 5:10 PM

School Bus Pickup Times

To align with the new schedule, the Ministry has set the following bus pickup times for students:

Primary & Intermediate Students: 7:10 AM
Secondary Students: 6:55 AM
Technical, Vocational, and Religious Institutes Students: 6:45 AM

Aiming for Comfort and Continuity

The Ministry of Education emphasized that these changes are made to ensure that students can maintain a healthy balance between their educational responsibilities and the spiritual practices of Ramadan. This new schedule aims to create a comfortable learning environment, allowing students to focus on their studies while also observing the holy month.
