Following International Tea Day celebrations, news circulated on social media that Muharraq Municipal Council had granted permission for Karak shops to operate around the clock, sparking excitement among online users.

Clarification on Limited Approval

However, the initial joy was short-lived as clarification soon emerged, revealing that the municipality had only approved one Karak shop for night operations.

Designated Shop for Night Hours

King Karak Cafeteria emerged as the sole establishment permitted to remain open throughout the night, operating every day except Fridays. The cafeteria offers affordable Karak tea, complemented by a variety of sandwich options.

While the prospect of 24/7 Karak access initially thrilled tea enthusiasts, it was clarified that only one shop has been granted this privilege by the Muharraq Municipal Council.
