BisB's Five Female Leaders Rank Amongst 500 Influential Women

Bahrain Islamic Bank's (BisB) five female leaders rank amongst the 500 Most Influential Women in the Islamic Finance Report (WOMANi Report 2023).

This report is published by the Cambridge Institute of Islamic Finance. 

What is the WOMANi Report 2023?

The report includes a diverse range of categories that shed light on women's contributions to Islamic finance worldwide. 

The report highlights exceptional individuals who work in various fields such as academia, entrepreneurship, leadership, and influence. 

BisB's Five Female Leader who made it to 500 Most Influential Women  

Fatema AlAlawi

AlAlawi is the Chief Retail Banking Officer at Bahrain Islamic Bank. 

She has a lot of experience in Islamic banking as she has worked with the Islamic International Rating Agency, Al Baraka Islamic Bank, and BisB.

She first worked with BisB as the Assistant General Manager - Acting Head of Retail for more than ten years. 

AlAlawi returned to BisB in May 2023 as Chief Retailing Officer after working with Al Baraka. 

Amal Saif

Amal Saif is working with Bahrain Islamic Bank as the Head of Islamic Operations. 

She worked at BisB as the Head of Islamic Finance for more than 16 years before her current position.

Saif has also worked with the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait and also with HSBC. 

Eman Albinghadeer

Albinghadeer is the Head of Sharia Internal Audit at the Bahrain Islamic Bank. 

Before this position, Albinghadeer worked for Sharia Audit at the bank for more than 18 years. 

She has also worked for the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions.

Afnan Saleh

Saleh is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Bahrain Islamic Bank.

She has been working with BisB for more than eight years. 

Saleh has also worked with the Tharawat Investment House and she has gotten her MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde. 

Dalal Al Rayes

She has been working at BisB for more than five years. She has also worked with Eskan Bank for more than ten years.
