HM King Hamad Donates Silver Jubilee Celebration Funds

In a remarkable act of generosity, His Majesty King Hamad of Bahrain has directed that all funds allocated for the Silver Jubilee celebrations be donated to charities in Bahrain.

The announcement was made by Shaikh Khalid, the Minister of the Royal Court, who confirmed that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) will oversee the distribution of these funds.

This philanthropic initiative aims to strengthen community partnerships and highlight the vital work carried out by local charities and official organizations to enhance the wellbeing of the community.

"The transfer of these funds will be managed through the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF)," Shaikh Khalid stated, emphasizing the importance of community support and the role of charitable organizations in societal development.

Despite this generous redirection of funds, the minister assured that the Kingdom’s national celebrations, including the National Day, the King’s Accession anniversary, and other significant national events, will proceed as planned.

This decision underscores HM King Hamad's commitment to fostering a supportive and cohesive community in Bahrain, further showcasing the Kingdom's dedication to social welfare and community development.
