How to Obtain Schengen Visit Visa in Qatar

What are the various Schengen countries?

• Your entry point into one of the Schengen nations or the member nation where you intend to spend most of your time is a requirement for your Schengen visa application.
• You must apply for a visa at one of the embassy offices in Doha or a visa center, depending on your intended itinerary or tour package.

• Photocopies

Copies of one personal data-containing passport page.

A copy of any prior Schengen visas.

International health insurance.

Accepted are only insurance providers recognized by the German Embassy in Doha.

Valid for all Schengen countries, valid for the duration of the initial stay.

• Flight and lodging arrangements

A legitimate and verified hotel reservation with the whole address (name, street, city, zip code, contact information, booking reference).

When appropriate, package tours and round trips (reservation for each segment of the stay including full address).

If relevant, a copy of the lease or other evidence of ownership with your complete address in Germany is required if you plan to live there.

Verified flight reservation that is valid.

• Evidence of financial capability

Last few bank statements (for the last three months, employment letter, proof of personal property, assets, credit cards with proof of credit limit)

Please submit the completed letter of assurance together with a copy of the relative's passport if financial resources are provided by a relative.

What time frame will it take for you to get the visa?

Receiving the visa may take around 15 calendar days, according to VFS Global, but this is not assured, especially during peak season.

How much does a Schengen visa cost?

For adults, this costs €80, and for kids aged 6 to 12, it costs €40. Children under the age of six are free. There may be additional Visa Center or Embassy service charges.
