Lane Closures on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway This Weekend

The Ministry of Works has scheduled maintenance work on the Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway, specifically at the Al Farooq Flyover, which will affect westbound traffic heading towards Hamad Town. The maintenance involves work on the expansion joints of the highway.

Lane Closures

Starting Thursday, August 29, at 11:00 PM, one lane will be closed in stages to facilitate the necessary repairs. Despite the closure, two lanes will remain open to ensure that traffic flow is minimally disrupted.

Maintenance Schedule

The lane closure will be in effect until Tuesday, September 3, at 5:00 AM. Drivers are advised to be cautious and plan their routes accordingly to avoid any delays.

This temporary adjustment is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve road infrastructure for better safety and efficiency.
