Bahrain's HH Sheikh Nasser Wins Hungary Endurance Race

Bahrain’s HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has claimed first place at the Hungary International Endurance Race, completing the 120 km course in 7 hours, 22 minutes, and 59 seconds.

This victory marks his final preparation for the World Championship in France this September.

The race, known for its challenging terrain, saw Sheikh Nasser outpace the competition, showcasing his readiness for the upcoming global event.

Even the former President of Hungary, Katalin Novák, was among those watching the Sheikh's impressive performance.

In his victory speech, Sheikh Nasser expressed that this win serves as a significant confidence boost ahead of the World Championship, emphasizing the difficulty of the Hungary race as one of Europe’s toughest. He also commended the Hungarian Equestrian Federation for their stellar organization and praised his Bahraini teammates for their roles in the race’s success.

The race concluded with a clean sweep for Bahrain, as Royal Team riders Mohammed Abdulhamid Al Hashimi and Othman Abduljalil Al Awadhi secured second and third places, respectively. Sheikh Nasser proudly received his first-place trophy from Ms. Orchidea Mihók of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation.
